Parade Pals: Dice Race privacy policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026. This policy covers the native iPhone and iPad app, version 1.0, and its game-support pages. The first App Store release is in preparation.

Parade Pals is developed and operated by Wood Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). Contact admin@npdestracker.com with privacy questions or requests.

This is a game-specific policy. It does not replace the separate NPDESTracker website and service privacy policy, and the game does not connect to NPDESTracker customer accounts or agency records.

Game information stored on your device

The app stores the current game, player mode, difficulty, and board preference on your device so you can continue playing. There is no developer-run account, game-save server, chat, online multiplayer, or Game Center connection in this version. We do not receive your local game progress through the app. The Help and privacy links in the app open these pages in Safari without adding game information to the link.

The app does not request your contacts, photos, microphone, precise location, or an advertising identifier. It does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Apple purchases and diagnostics

Apple processes paid downloads and the optional Night Board purchase through the App Store. The app uses StoreKit to read verified purchase records, including the product identifier, original purchase date, and entitlement or revocation status, to unlock or restore the board theme. These records are not uploaded to a developer-operated purchase server. We do not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Apple may provide us with sales reports, usage summaries, crash reports, or TestFlight feedback according to Apple's services and your sharing choices. These are used to understand sales, investigate faults, and support testing. Apple's own processing, account data, purchase history, device backups, and privacy settings are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information or attachments you choose to send, such as a device model or problem description. We use that information to answer your request, troubleshoot the issue, and maintain relevant support records. Email service providers process messages on our behalf. We do not add game-support messages to a marketing mailing list without your permission.

Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment details, or sensitive government/customer records. Children should ask a parent or guardian to contact support and should not send personal information themselves. If we learn that a child has sent unnecessary personal information, we will delete it, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.

Visiting these game pages

The game pages under /games use a separate layout without advertising tags, session-replay tools, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or third-party fonts. They do not set application tracking cookies. Our website host, Vercel, may process technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time to deliver and protect the pages. This website traffic is separate from gameplay data. Following a link to the main NPDESTracker site or to Apple brings you under that site's applicable privacy practices.

Sharing and protection

Support correspondence and hosting information may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate these services, or disclosed when required by law or to address fraud and security issues. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. We use reasonable access and security safeguards, but no electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and your choices

Local game information remains on your device until it is replaced by a new game, removed with the app, or affected by your device's backup and restore choices. Starting a new game replaces progress but does not erase all settings. Deleting the app removes its local app data; copies may remain in backups you control through Apple. Restore purchases restores eligible purchases, not deleted game progress.

We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve and follow up on the issue and meet applicable legal, security, or accounting requirements, then delete or de-identify it. Hosting logs follow the host's applicable retention settings and obligations. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold. Contact admin@npdestracker.com; we may need to verify the request. We cannot retrieve or delete local gameplay files remotely or delete records held independently by Apple.

Policy updates

We will update this page and its effective date when these practices change. Features involving new data collection will require corresponding privacy information before release. For help with the app, visit Parade Pals support.
