Guided Evaluation Workspace
A 90-day evaluation workspace for your municipality.
The Guided Evaluation Workspace is the plan name for the 90-day evaluation workspace configured around your agency's current MS4 workflow. Limited introductory pricing at $2,500 while we onboard early municipalities. Up to 8 users, with a setup intake and guided kickoff covering inspections, IDDE, tasks, GIS, custom modules, and reporting evidence.
The evaluation workspace runs on the same NPDESTracker platform used for the public demo, hosted annual plans, and scoped deployments.
$2,500 flat, 90 days, up to 8 users (introductory pricing while we onboard early municipalities). Guided kickoff. The $2,500 evaluation fee can be credited toward an annual plan if your municipality continues within 60 days. Larger evaluation workspaces run on email and invoice; setup details are confirmed before the workspace is prepared.
01 · What the evaluation workspace includes
A focused 90 days, guided end-to-end.
The evaluation workspace is intentionally simple. You get a real workspace for up to 8 users, a guided kickoff, and enough hand-holding to make a real decision at the end of 90 days. It is not a long sales process or a multi-month enterprise rollout. Your team uses the product, we answer questions over email, and at day 90 you decide what makes sense.
In the evaluation workspace
- Guided Evaluation Workspace, 90 days at $2,500 (introductory pricing while we onboard early municipalities)
- Up to 8 users
- Setup intake and guided kickoff
- Inspections, IDDE, tasks, GIS, custom modules, and reporting evidence
- Self-service configuration included
- Email-first support during business hours
- Clean export if the city does not continue
02 · What we need from your team
A small bundle of program materials gets us moving.
Nothing exotic. The point of this list is to skip the back-and-forth and get your workspace looking like your program from week one. If you do not have a piece, that is fine. We can start with what exists.
From your team
- Primary contact
- Permit type or state program
- Site or outfall spreadsheet if available
- Current inspection form or checklist
- A few example records or SOPs
- List of users who should test the workspace
- Any custom workflow materials if a custom module is being discussed
03 · Evaluation scope
What the 90 days cover.
A focused evaluation, sized to fit between a kickoff call and a clean decision point at day 90.
-
Guided setup
Guided kickoff. Evaluation workspace configured to your permit framework, with import help for the lists you bring.
-
Real records
Your team uses NPDESTracker on a slice of the actual program — inspections, IDDE, complaints, tasks, and reporting evidence.
-
Staff workflow testing
Inspectors, coordinators, and supervisors run their week through the workspace so the evaluation reflects the real work.
-
Configuration review
Mid-evaluation review of modules, labels, fields, dropdowns, and exports so the workspace ends up shaped around your program.
-
Final fit recommendation
At day 90, a written recommendation on continuation, sizing, and any scoped custom work — or a clean export if it is not the right fit.
Boundaries: the evaluation workspace does not submit reports to any state agency, does not certify compliance, and is not legal or regulatory advice. Substantial custom engineering and large historical data cleanup are scoped separately. Smart Draft remains assistive and review-required throughout.
04 · What happens after 90 days
A clean decision point.
At day 90 you have a real read on whether NPDESTracker fits your program. Four ways forward, and the choice is yours. The $2,500 evaluation fee can be credited toward an annual plan if your municipality continues within 60 days.
Continue on Inspection Starter
$3,499 / year
For small municipal stormwater teams. Sites, contacts, map, inspections, tasks, markups, draft notices, enforcement tracking, and exports in one workspace.
Continue on Inspection Team
$9,499 / year
Larger inspection team workspace. Everything in Inspection Starter, plus supervisor workflow, team task visibility, more GIS layers, and priority onboarding. User count, onboarding, and support scope are confirmed before purchase.
Continue on Full MS4 Platform
From $18,000 / year
Everything in Inspection Team, plus reporting support, evidence linking, the annual reporting workspace, and the broader MS4 workflows for full MS4 program coordination.
Walk away with a clean export
No annual commitment
If the workspace is not the right fit, you leave with a clean export of what you logged during the evaluation. No retention claim, no lock-in.
Larger deployments and multi-department programs are custom-quoted around the actual program. See the pricing page for the full posture.
05 · Custom modules during the evaluation
Scoped before work starts.
Custom modules are possible when the city provides forms, SOPs, field lists, examples, PDFs, and program materials. If a custom module is on the table during the evaluation, the scoping conversation covers what the module needs to do, what materials your team can hand over, and what a fair build looks like — captured in writing before any build begins.
Scope
Keeping the evaluation simple.
The Guided Evaluation Workspace is intentionally scoped so a city can evaluate the broader workflow without a long enterprise sales process. It includes one focused setup path, guided kickoff, email-first support, and a clean decision point at 90 days. Substantial custom engineering, major historical data cleanup, and substantial contract redlines are scoped separately.
Guided Evaluation Workspace pricing assumes NPDESTracker's standard evaluation agreement, the included setup, email-first support, and a limited evaluation scope. If a city needs substantial custom contracting, custom module development beyond self-service, large historical data cleanup, or complex procurement requirements, we scope those separately or move directly to an annual plan.
Smaller team or one focused workflow? The $999 Guided 60-day Evaluation is for up to 3 users. The Guided Evaluation Workspace above is the right fit for a full-program evaluation.
